FREE DOWNLOAD St. Justin School is assisting Jeb Eddy, the software developer of LetterBetter, in the "kid-testing" for the upgraded version of this software program. Your children use LetterBetter in the classrooms on iMacs and in our Computer Lab on the Windows PC Laptops with XP Professional OS. This software is designed for Kindergarten through upper grades. The new upgraded version is now available for free download. We use this program in our school Computer Lab for grades K-1-2-3 and in the classrooms as well. Our children really enjoy using this program at school and they'll love having it at home! Jeb Eddy's LetterBetter software program is now available for Windows PC, Mac OS9 and Mac OS X platforms with a Palm OS version in development. Letterbetter is a dynamic, easy-to-use tool, ideal for young children who cannot yet read. It is great for improvement of hand-printing and handwriting skills development and seeing how your child makes lettering strokes. On paper, your child's lettering make come out looking "perfect" but they may not be forming the letters in the correct stroke sequence. LetterBetter is designed to "play it back for you onscreen" so you can actually see the sequential order in which each pen or mouse-stroke was made. Our LetterBetter
Users Group is open to all parents and students who would like to help
make the program better, or if you have questions about how to use it and
extend its functionality with a Wacom
Graphire tablet. Wacom tablets are available from many different
online retailers for about $99.00 and they require an available USB port
on your computer. Our online discussion group is at http://groups.google.com/group/LBUGSV
