Athletics

The St. Justin School athletic program is coordinated by Athletic Directors Patti Luddy and George Santich and is open to all students in grades 5-8. It is a developmental program that focuses on team skills and gives the students the opportunity to play and improve. All students who sign up are allowed to play; however, attendance at practice is required for continuation on the team. We are proud to offer flag football, volleyball, basketball, and softball. There is a $70.00 participation fee for each sport; however, no student is kept from playing due to financial constraints.

St. Justin prides itself on the quality of sportsmanship as evidenced by our players. Throughout our program, the coaches aspire to instill a level of fair play and Christian values in our athletes. At the end of the year, a special awards assembly is held to recognize each player and team. Every year, an 8th grader is presented with the Colin Connolly Award, an award given in remembrance of a former student. This special honor goes to the student athlete who best models the qualities of a hard-working, dedicated, and committed Christian athlete.

In addition to our regular athletic program, students are also able to join the St. Justin Swim Team. This team practices and competes at the conveniently located International Swim Center where Olympic champions Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte have also competed. The Olympic-size facilities are adjacent to the St. Justin School campus.
