Special Events
St. Justin School is pleased to host several special social events throughout the year, intended to foster a strong community.
Annual Tea
One of St. Justin’s most fabulous traditions is the Annual Tea. It is a great time to gather with family and friends and enjoy delicious food and of course, tea! Our gymnasium is transformed into a beautiful tearoom with casual bites, friendship, and celebration of our community.
Move-a-Thon
At St Justin School's annual Move-a-thon (previously Jog-a-thon), we aim to give our students a fun, healthy, and educational way to raise money for our school. This event is an important fundraiser that helps St Justin School raise money for many projects for the school. Students make their way through fun themed obstacles, and run laps of the blacktop each year.
Halloween Carnival
The 8th Grade students host a Halloween Carnival every year where they have different game booths and a Haunted House. All proceeds from the event benefit the St. Justin Community Ministry program.
Annual Benefit & Auction
The Benefit Dinner is sponsored by the PAC and is the school’s largest fundraiser. The large hall is transformed into whatever that year’s theme is. In the past we’ve had a rodeo, a disco nightclub and an evening on Mt. Olympus! The evening starts off with drinks and appetizers and a silent auction. A catered dinner is served and followed by a live auction, where you’re sure to come across something exciting! Each class provides a class or individual item that parents may purchase for their family.
Spring Sing / Grandparents Day
The Spring Sing is a day to honor our Grandparents and Very Important People in our students’ lives. The students make gifts for their grandparents, perform songs, and open their classroom for their special visitors to see. The event is always scheduled on a 12:30 day so that the children’s special visitors can take them out to lunch afterwards. It has become a wonderful tradition.
